Bryan
Bryan did not start out looking to farm. He had always been part of the family farm which consisted of a few chickens and a couple cows. After graduating from high school in 1994, Bryan went to Mississippi State University to pursue a degree in Computer Engineering. After a couple of years, it became evident that school was not working out.
Luckily, Bryan had gotten a job in Oak Ridge, TN with one of the Department of Energy contractors and was able to leave school and work full time. After a period of time from 1998 to 2001 where he spent a number of unsettled years living in Knoxville, Bryan found a farm in Rockwood and was able to purchase it.
In 2004, property clearing began and pasture was being planted. In 2006, Cross Brothers Enterprises, LLC was formed with brother Michael and parents Royce and Judy.
Bryan still maintains a full-time job in addition to helping run the farm. Whenever he is not working at his "day" job, he is helping with calving, baling hay, hauling feed, and whatever else needs to be done.
